In the Musiksaal (music hall), the heart of the MUSIKINSEL, formations with up to 120 musicians can rehearse or make recordings. This modern hall receives light from both the north and south. Both end walls are covered with a mixture of absorbing and reflecting acoustic elements. With motorized acoustic curtains, the desired acoustic damping can be achieved on the walls with windows. Spotlights, microphones, beamers, etc. can be placed in position along two ceiling rails.

The orchestra foyer below is conveniently reached through dedicated stairs.
